One of the best values in Napa, this 4-building inn has spacious and bonny rooms, with lovely landscaping, a hot tub on the patio, and experts behind the desk (they're helpful in setting up wine tasting itineraries for first timers). At that place are all sorts of extras, including a good breakfast (with made-to-order items!) and freshly broiled cookies in the afternoon. If walking stairs is an issue for you, be sure to ask the staff for a ground-level room or an upstairs room in a building with an elevator. The hotel is within walking altitude of Napa'south downtown heart and close to Highway 29, the region's thoroughfare; wineries are mere minutes abroad.
